This film had a limited release in U.S. theaters on January 26th, 2025. Despite opening on a Sunday, it became the #15 highest grossing film at the U.S. box office for the weekend.
The film tells the incredible true story of an ethnic Armenian family’s fight for survival during the fall of the Soviet Union in 1980s Azerbaijan and Russia.
The film was made for a modest budget of $1.5MM and filmed in Eastern Europe over a period of 20 shooting days.
It is now streaming on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Angel Studios.
